The Baker Family

This past Saturday I went out near Lake Whitney to take portraits for a friend of mine.  It’s a full hour’s drive from my home, but I always enjoy the trip out there and I really enjoyed seeing my friend Mikisha and her family.  Mikisha was wanting to suprise her relatives with a family portrait, so I was really glad I could help her accomplish that.  It was great seeing her again and I’m happy with the results of the images.  They are wonderful people and a good lookin’ bunch at that!

Yesterday I had a wonderful shoot with a family I have worked with before, the Woodalls.  (Pictured with the family, in the middle is their cute little dog, Max.)  They are so friendly and caring.  It is always a treat to work with them.  They go out of their way to make me feel comfortable and part of the family.  That is always so nice, thoughtful, and greatly appreciated.  I just wanted to take a moment to say thanks and how much I love working with them.  Everyone was so upbeat and ready to go.  We got some wonderful family portraits and the whole family was ecstatic about them.  Thank you again, Woodall family and I hope you have a very happy holiday!  And a very happy holidays and warm wishes to you, the reader, too!

Let me start by saying that I am sorry for not keeping up with the blog very well as of late. My kiddo suddenly needed to have his appendix removed and I have had very severe bronchitis which put me in the emergency room twice.  My son seems to be recuperating nicely and I think I’m actually getting better a little myself.  It’s been a rough couple of weeks for my family and I, but I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel (hopefully, it’s not a train).    At any rate, here is the quote of the week.  I hope it brings a smile to your face and shines a light in your heart.  Take care of yourselves, keep hope alive, and God bless!
